Tweezers, Do We Really Need Them?

I had been quilting for several years when a friend gave me a pair of tweezers. I placed them in my box where I put things that don’t get used. One day I read an article about using tweezers to pull the thread once you get it thru the sewing machine needle. The next time I used the sewing machine, I grabbed the tweezers to try it out, and it worked. Since then, they have been front and center. I now use them all the time for guiding fabric while sewing, pulling out pieces of thread while ripping out seams, grabbing stray threads in the bobbin area, and pulling the paper away from your paper piecing project. The one that I use is bent with pinpoint.
